In the year 1990, at a very young age, the founder Mr. Najib Abou Rjeily, started as a worker in a birdcage factory in Beirut. Not before long, he became the head of the production team, and soon after the head of the sales department.
In 1993, he left the cage factory and started his own pet shop in Tabarja. In 1999, he moved to Ghazir where he established a very modern pet shop under the name of Middle East Pets Center. In 2001, sales were growing rapidly and the need for a bigger location was a must. Safra (the present location) was the next move. Gradually more warehouses were rented to reach a storage total area of over 2000 m2. In 2015 the property was bought, and the new brand (MideaPet) was launched.
